Talk to him when your around your friends and his. Let him know your there. Don't be shy to talk to him about it and that it bothers you that he doesn't talk to you when your around his friends. If that doesn't work then when his around your friends with you don't talk to him to send the message that its rude and how you feel

Question 1 - is he a mute? If yes a sign language course would probably benefit your relationship.
Suggest you talk to your friends.
My girlfriiend had this problem with me. She promised me a blxx job for every sentence I spoke to her when with my friends. This worked but did cause some issues with regard to sexual acts in public places...........which is fine

Thats very, very common, and it will be a big problem between you until he breaks up with you, which sounds bad, but thats whats happens, you like him, he says he likes you, but he isn't emotionally mature enough to be with you or to treat you the way you deserve to be treated, so when your alone with him, ask him about it, tell him how it makes you feel, because you defiantly don't want to be know as his booty call

Some boyfriend. Either he's is ashamed to admit to his buddies that he's going out with you, or he wants to avoid any ribbing from them and doesn't have the balls to stand up for you.
I say give him some space to grow up. You deserve better.

He's not your "boyfriend". He's just using you for sex. If he were serious about you, he would show you more respect in public around his friends. Go find someone else.

He is either shy and doesn't want the crap his friends will give him about you two, or embarrassed or being with you. Either way you need to sit down and talk to him about it.

Thats crappy. You need to be with someone thats the same around you when you two are alone as he is when you guys are with his friends.

not a real boy friend he just wants to know that when he wants sex you will be there so he says you are his girl friend to you and to the guys it is probably a big joke.
