The pilot lights work fine; I have cleaned their openings. Ever since we have used this stove we have to turn on the propane then put a bic or a match to whatever burner, then it works fine. There must be some way for the pilot to do its job.

Look on the burner there are two small holes that line up with the pipe that runs to the pilot light I take a set of cutting torch cleaners and open these quite frequently also have taken a SMALL drill bit and opened them Doesn't seem to be enough gas going to the pilot through the standard opening also might turn up the pilot a bit Has worked for me (Same stove 10 years)

There are small holes along the side of the burners that shoot a small amount of gas down the tube to the pilot flame and when ignited the flame follows the holes up to the top of the burner and lights the burner. You need to clean these holes out and the burners will light without the need of a match. Use a pin to do this but do not gouge the holes out or you could have other problems. They just need to be opened.
