If you can find big fake glasses in the thick brown or black frame that will incicate the decade very well. You know, the type of glasses that scientists alway wear in the movies.
70s was the era when sythetic materials were just introduced. The new thing about it was it came in all sorts of crazy colors that they didn't put on cotton fabric. If you can find bell-botom pants that are not jeans but some crazy lilac color. Bell-bottom back then ment that it covers your toes completely and then there is still some flare left :-)

How about some Platform shoes, a
pair of bell bottoms a middrift blouse and a scarf wrapped around the front of your hair!

you should take a look at the images on yahoo for ideas....i would say mini skirt, platform shoes & that sort since it's a 70s party

ok...you'll need a pair of bellbottom pants, with a big comb that sticks out of your back pocket -- it's better if it says "BUTT" or something on the handle of it. Be sure to whip the comb out often and "feather" your hair back often, k?
