Legalizing herb will cost society less than fighting a victimless crime. The problem with keeping it "underground" is that it makes pot an "underworld" product. Legalize it and people will do what they are doing anyway, and society will benefit from tax revenues and using our enforcement resources to solve actual crimes. Including anyone who drives dangerously.

So you are saying that people who drive while high on weed are more prone to be in an accident than drunk drivers???? I want proof.

Plus I think its about time that weed was made legal. Alcohol causes more health risks than weed.

I don't see anything wrong with at all.

Not only would it bring money in for the state of Nevada, it would lessen crime by stupid kids looking to make a quick buck.

Personally, I think they should make big tobacco illegal. It's more addictive than marijuana by far...and it impairs much less than it's legal cousin alcohol does.

It will probably never happen. It is legal for medical use in California, but the Feds keep raiding their medical facilities anyway. High drivers drive slower usually, but driving under the influence of any substance is a huge mistake.
