Kids In The Hall. Not well known in the UK but the business suit trapper sketch still makes me laugh.

Till Death us do Part, Especially when She made a special pie for the dog and 'Alf got it out the oven and started chomping away at it. Tony Booth (Cheri's Father relished this moment) but the then young Una Stubbs told Alf who promptly regurgitated the pie which he was formerly enjoying.
After witnessing this scene Else (Dandy Nichols -the wife) said to the dog, 'Never mind you can have 'is'.
Then there was the time when Spike Milligan played the Indian man with a first class ticket and coined the phrase second class citizen -first class ticket. That was where comedy truly reflected society as it was in the sixties, thank goodness it has changed opinions since then.

If anyone chooses 'Love My Neighbour' I think I'll be sick. It wasn't even funny!

The best comedy in the world comes from The Goodies. Serious bellylaughing to be had there.

Team America (my mate thought this was a kids DVD and left them to watch it while she went to the kitchen . . .), Only Fools and Horses (the Batman and Robin episode), Family Guy (evil baby Stewie), Steptoe and Son, Futurama (Bender - I rest my case), Shaun of the Dead (funny, English and a horror - perfect combo), Less than Perfect, Jack and Karen from Will and Grace. Improving shows are Two and a Half Men, Surburban Shootout (I'm sure I saw those housewifes' in Croydon) and Stacked.

This is a hard one 'cos there have been so many good ones.
I absolutely love "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps"
However I don't think you can beat "Only Fools and Horses"
It has stood the test of time, it is still as funny now as when it was first shown, and I can watch it over and over again.
It's a classic, good shows come and go but classics go on forever.

It has to be Frasier. Every episode is brilliant. One of the best ,was when a guy they met thought Niles was gay, it is so cleverly written.
My second favourite (even although you didn't ask for that)
has to be Only fool and horses. The one where Del boy falls through the hatch at the wine bar has to be the best.

The Office - it's just GENIUS!!! The writing is hilarious and Tim's face in the background is subtle but the best bit about it. It was one of a kind and I don't think that any other comedies come close (BTW it's the Office - uk, the US one is Rubbish)

i think rising damp is amazing they just dont make comedies with charecters like that anymore. for modern day then i have 2 say alan partridge it is just so original. I hate all these comedies that r filled with jokes. With alan its all about how its delivered and the comedy isnt so obvious. He is a legend

Best ever: Definately "kids in the hall" I laugh myself sick over "Chicken lady loves life....it says so in my ad" and sir simon and heckubus "haaaaail satan!"
Funniest ever. Get the series on DVD if you can, they cut out a TON when it ran on t v.

second runner up for my fave was Red Dwarf everything but the last season/series was hysterical and Im starting to love Peepshow I try to catch it whenever I can on BBCamerica.
