We have some good players but we just aren't winning games.

It's impossible. Of course nothing is impossible...except motivating teens. You could try getting an electronic device that lets their cell phones work only while they are rounding the bases.

Seriously though, I've coached and my best friend coached high school softball. Your goal might be to win the title, but how high is that on your list of life goals? You'll inspire your team by your determination on the field. That doesn't mean to be a jerk...not that you are..., but your team has to know that while practicing and playing they need to focus on maximum performance and not on gossip and what's on tv tonight.

It comes down to the individuals themselves making a commitment. My coach used to have us run whenever he thought we lost focus. He was a tough coach, but we won. The team as a whole found it better to try at practise than to run sprints and laps.
