I remember an article from Life magazine, 1970 or thereabouts, then

they dropped off the radar screen.

I don't know about this group, but I did find a website. See below.

I just finished reading a book about the first surviving identical quintuplets, born in Canada during the depression (Dionne quints.)

They were taken from their family, raised in a hospital built for them across the street from their house and basically put on display. The family fought for them in court, got them when they were about 9 and the girls moved out of the family home at 18. 2 or 3 had unsuccessful marriages - they really didn't know how to deal with the outside world. Heartbreaking.

I think they died of old age.
