Cherry blossoms. They are also called "Sakura". I would like to see the Cherry Blossoms someday. I love Japan!

You talking 'bout the ones that grow on the trees? 'Cause those are sakura (cherry) blossoms. Very pretty trees, especially when the pink petals fall off and blow around in the wind...*romantic thoughts*

The flowers bloom on Cherry Trees (cherry blossoms) are called "Sakura" in Japanese and its flowering season (depends on region but) is around March to April.

The lighter pink to white flowers bloom on Japanese Plum Trees are called "Ume" in Japanese and its flowering season (depends on region but) is around February.
