I know its like something out of Twight Zone but didnt you ever wonder if all the reaserchers and doctors were wrong about the powers of the human spirit?

All of the apparatus for physical pain are contained in the nerves and skin, which would die with the body, though I don't doubt there is some sort of post death trauma assosiated with dying. Perhaps there is some sort of office you can go to after death for help, like in beetlejuice

The many number of people who have "Life After Death Experiences" relate that their minds were clear and free of any pain or even negative emotions... that they were calm and at peace. They went to the "light" and saw their friends and relatives that were "on the other side" and experienced only good things. Feelings and pain are the products of the body's nerve system... once you leave the body, you leave the responses to the sensations of your nerve system behind. You are still able to have emotional reactions, but not pain sensations.

Physical pain is your body's way of sending your brain a message that something is not right or that you could be in danger, therefore if you are physically dead, it would be impossible to feel normal, physical pain.
