i think he killed himself over the playoff's.
i think the media doesn't want to hurt baseball and so they strech it.

i think spelling and grammar is needed in your future....and to jump to the conclusion that lidle was suicidal because of the yankee playoff loss seems to indicate a lobotomy for you is appropriate

It doesn't make sense to take someone else with you or risk injuring others on the ground or in a building by flying into it.

He would have been flying alone & waited till he was over an open field
or some unpopulated area and run his plane into the ground.

But even that seems unlikely.

i do not think he killed himself. why would he do that? the yanks are the best and there is always next year. a standby even said he could see the plane lost power and he was trying to coax it. no i do not think he killed himself. he had a wife and a child. this is my opinion only but i truly do not think he killed himself...he was on the YANKEES for cryin out loud!!

I don't think it was, especially when his flight instructor was in the plane with him, and he did radio in that there was trouble. You're making too much over it, and I don't think he'd want to do something that stupid over baseball, considering leaving his wife and child behind, as well.

Although some people (like myself) take baseball seriously. This is not the proper place to ask your question. Have a heart man.

I think you are talking out of your backside. That is a very hurtful thing to say, the guy has a family and for all you know someone from his family may actually visit this site!

Wrong. He had made plans to meet up with a friend later that day in Nashville and had confirmed the plans with said friend shortly before.

NOT at all!! Lidle had too much to live for. He had no reason to kill himself. Certainly NOT over the playoffs!! It was clearly an accident, and to suggest otherwise is callous and insensitive to his memory and to his family.

Chow!!

I don't think so and it's pretty sad that you would. If he really wanted to kill himself there are plenty of ways of doing it without involving others.
