The world has always been prejudice, it is just that it is being reported on more openly via new technology, by the Internet, news reports, newspapers,Television programs covering the subject in a more realistic way. Granted, that now, each race is fighting to stay the majority, not the minority, more prejudice among all different races are showing up. Also society as a whole are more closed minded if they do not practice what the other race considers part of their culture and are less likely to accept it or try to understand it so it must be wrong or bad. This leads to misconceptions of a person from that group of what is correct or society accepted. Behavior is label as deviant when in reality it is not. Prejudice is normally a misunderstanding of the others belief or moral code. We tend to believe if one person of a race does something that is bad, this shines a bad light on the group as a whole, and we will think that persons of that nationality will all do the same thing or act the same way. People should try to walk in the others shoes for one hour before judging, and see each other as individuals, then we can start to erase all the disbelief's and see each other as just human beings trying to live our life's out peacefully. Prejudice has always been there and been that way from the start of time, we just see more of it today than in the past.
