President Bush came into office hoping to show the Iraqis a peace of his mind from the get-go. He was mad when they messed around with his dad, so he thought he could go in there again and win. Unfortunately, when his dad was in office they fought an army. Now Bush has our army fighting cells that are made up of only God knows who. Yes, I admit, our president is not intelligent. He is prideful. But, like they say, pride goeth before a fall...and have we fallen.

He isn't dumb. If he was, there is no way he would have been able to reach the position that he is in right now. However, all presidents rely on their advisors and boy did G.W. surround himself with drooling imbeciles that aren't even qualified for their appointed positions. (FEMA, for example) When you help out your friends by giving them cushy positions in the White House, it is best to make sure they can fulfill their obligations. Otherwise, it is the person who appointed them, and makes moves based on their decisions, advise, etc., that looks stupid.

If President Bush is dumb, how did he graduate from both Yale (Bachelors) and Harvard (MBA)? Incidentally, President Bush received higher grades at Yale than Kerry.

Well apparently he is not! He started the in 2000 - Florida can't count, made them go through tons of recounts because the popular vote was for Gore - and everyone believed him.. Jokes about Florida everywhere, and everyone believed him, no one seemed to stop and think who Florida's governor was, instead Florida became a stupid state just full of retirees.
War in Iraq, the majority believed him. Everyone was behind him in the war even though no other countries were, the UN wasn't, but everyone believed him.
France is our enemy because they don't support us in the war - suddenly one of our biggest allies became a laughing joke in the US. If it wasn't for France there would not be a US today, but they weren't behind us, so everyone listened to Bush....
So can we really say he's that dumb.... he seemed to be able to manipulate everyone, no one could think for themselves, they just became lemmings-Is he really dumb?

Bush isn't dumb, though he made the same mistake Reagan did in surrounding himself with yes men and women with their own agendas, and had nothing left to do but to stand by them in order to save face.
Well, yes, now that you ask, that was dumb.
Ron had his Iran-Contra, George has his Iraq.

He sounds ok when making a speech...that's because he's reading it from the teleprompter. But in a news conference he's really stupid. You would think that he would rehease what he's going to say when asked certain questions.
