I am 9 months pregnant and sick should I take medicine? I fell down the stairs last night and hurt my stomach. Would my baby be alright?? HELP!

I fell while I was pregnant with my son, and landed flat on my stomach. I waited all day, wondering if I should go in the hospital. Finally, I went in. All you have to do is go to the labor and delivery at the hospital and they will put a fetal monitor on you to make sure that you aren't having contractions. Turns out I was, but it was only from dehydration. They gave me an IV and I went home. Are you sick after you fell or before? If it is after, I would definatley say go, and now. Your baby could be in distress, and remember, sometimes you don't feel contractions. I had no idea I was having mine.

u should of went to the er right after u fell instead of getting on here and asking a question like this u could of hurt the baby good luck :)

Don't take any medicine. You are almost there. If you think you may have injured the baby go to an ER and get checked out.

DEFINITELY NO on the medication! You should have gone to the ER last night after falling...your baby needs to be monitored.
Call you doc ASAP or go to the nearest ER...

You fell?have you gone to the doctor?You should immediately go.About the medicine call your doctor and let him now what is wrong and how you feel and he should be able to tell you what medicine is right for you to take.GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!!!

I would contact your doctor immediatley. If you cant get ahold of your doctor - go the hospital. Dont take any chances.

not long now then... SICK in what way spewing or cold flew? i would just take paras if its a cold drink water if you sick i would advise you to go and see a doctor or a midwife to get checked out.. can you get to a hospital tonight???? to be on the safe side

your OB can give you a list of meds you can take while pregnant.
you should contact you OB about falling down the stairs...could be fine, could not be fine....

IF YOU FELL ON YOUR STOMACH WHY DIDN'T YOU GO TO THE DOC OR AT LEAST CALL YOUR OB??? ARE YOU DOING ANY TYPE OF BLEEDING? DO YOU FEEL THE BABY MOVE??? CALL YOUR DOC.
