Today has been a sh1t day some w@nker drove into my dads car today and wrote it off (no-one hurt the car was parked up the road), he didn't stop. My mum and dad are supposed to be going away next week (taking my nephew for a holiday) so my question is this

Q. Do I rely on the authoritys for their help
or .Do I just use the information I have(given to me by a witness), find the w@nker and beat ten shades o **** out of him.
In all honesty today has been such a **** day (nan diagnosed with terminal cancer....no jokes please)and now this. I leave it up to you people to decide wether I let the law take its course, or I go find the fcuker and flatten his head for him

I am so sorry you have had such a horrible day today and I can really understand that you want to go out seeking the selfish pig who damaged your mom and dads car, but do you honestly think that will help them or you, haven't you had the worst news anyone could have about your nan, you all have enough hurt and upset in your lives at this moment in time and going out bashing someone will do you no good, get you, a nice guy into trouble and cause more stress and pain for both you and your family, let the law deal with the car, he will get his comeuppance believe me, look after yourself and your family, spend time with your nan, tell her you love her, have a bloody good cry and stay as you are, sorry for your day and I hope you are all alright.

First of all I am really sorry to learn that your Nan is very ill and the accident of your parents car. At present all Nan need is love and affections and most of all peace. Because she had to go through hard time and I am sure you do not want to add another worries to all what happened today.
My advice is that you let the law do the work and you look after yourself and your family members. I am sure you love your family very much. Your parents may want to postpone their holidays since your Nan need your parents to be near her. She must be shaken with the news of her illness. If you still want your parents to go on their holidays then help them by organising a car for them (if you are old enough to do this) and take care of your Nan while they are away.
Do not get upset. Take a deep breath and calm down. Your parent’s car can be replaced. Their holidays can be arranged. But your Nan’s health can't wait. So, help your Nan by not creating problems and be there, ready to help.

I'm sorry you're having such a rotten day.
I agree with clarelouiseprince, let the law deal with him first, then you deal with him. You're tempted to go beat his *** straightaway because you're upset about the other events that have transpired today. If after the law takes care of him you feel the same, then go beat him up. But, chances are, you won't still be so angry by that time.
As for your nan, my deepest sympathies. Spend as much time with her now as you possibly can.

Don't try to kill him, it will only get you in trouble as well, & make your day even shittier, but don't trust the authorities to do anything about it anytime soon.

From my personal experience, the authorities don't really seem to give a rats *** unless it involves a young child.

Instead, try to find the alleged "Wanker" & turn him into the authorities yourself & have them deal with him from there.

Great sympathy, indeed, but let the law sort it.
A bit of vigilantism might make you feel good temporarily, but if you do, you could end up being done more than the felon. If that happens, he's 'won'. You wouldn't want that, would you?

Let the police deal with it because if you done him in then you'd probably get thrown in the clanger! Then you wouldn;t be there for your Nan in a time she needs you most!

All the best!

I have loads of sympathy for you it sounds like you has a b'stard of a day but please take the info the witness gave you to the police. It would be awful for your parents to see you get in trouble for smacking this **** one for what he's done especially as you all seem to have a lot to deal with at the mo.
Take care
