Bluetooth has nothing to do with connecting to the internet. You need a data service for your phone with your provider. Bluetooth simply allows you to connect to other devices that are really close (a few feet away). It will not connect you to the net.

It relies upon upon your cellular provider service. commonly to apply something different than the telephone (like a computer) to connect with the internet you want a awareness plan, that may run $50-60/month better vs. $15 for information superhighway on in simple terms your telephone. case in point with Verizon you used to have the skill to apply USB or Bluetooth to a minimum of do dial up information superhighway on a cellular telephone (at a sluggish 14.4k, yet they do no longer even enable you are attempting this anymore without archives plan. and that i could no longer connect through to a severe velocity community without archives plan. So my company have been given me a USB archives device and that i dropped Vcast/information superhighway on my telephone.
