Mine lasted 7 years (not the itch though) through death. All these divorces make me feel how unfair it is really... I wanted mine to last forever.

I'm sorry you lost your spouse. My husband is my best friend. We have been married 7 1/2 years and I love him more now than I did when we got married. I believe marriage should last forever and hope mine does. I hope that someday you find someone else to spend the rest of your life with.

We all want them to last forever, however life often throws us curves and things dont go the way we plan. The best thing to do is keep on keeping on one never knows better things may be right around the corner. By the way 17 yrs divorced on account of infidelity

not married never have been....i was engaged once when I was 19 and WOW am I glad I broke that off. I was stupid...couldn't imagine being married to him now! Yikes!

As for marriage in my future.....yeah I see it but I have no expectations on my husband to keep faithful. I know it next to damned near impossible for dudes. *shrug* I would totally treat my marriage as a business contract........you keep me and the kids well shelter and clothed (and when I say well i'm mean substantial well...if I'm to allow these next concessions) and in return you can have your flings on the side (but you better wear a condom b/c I don't want some nasty disease or baby mama drama) and really hot intelligent wife that can schmooze with the bosses at the holiday parties while talking about the price of chicken at Jewel with the wives. *shrug* I'm a ppl person what can I say! :)

Now tell me what man wouldn't want to marry me! :)
