I'M GOING TO LET YOU GUYS IN ON A SECRECT........but first i wanted to point out that while I was reading everyone's comments I see a lot of "Target's great" "who care's about name brands" blah, blah, blah. Don't get me wrong, that is so true but i don't think you should create your wardrobe there. I love target...hey i was an employee, but face it...its cheap and you get what you pay for. That crap will be worth nothing after you wash it a few times...trust me I know. READY FOR THE SECRET??? Stores like Ross dress for less, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls is much better and here's why. I work at Macys and as you may or may not know they only carry name brands. Every week there is new markdowns in various departments When the markdowns get to a certain price we pack the clothes up in boxes and send it to stores like Marshalls....thats how they get their clothes. So if you thought they carried name brands for cheap prices because something was wrong with them then you are completely wrong. So if you want clothes that LAST then forget Target and go to Tj Maxx you can get name brands for the same price as the clothes at target. I bought a real nice $150.00 Rocawear winter coat for $51.00 last winter at Marshalls and I got some Steve Madden boots for $19.99 today at Ross dress for less...and trust, Steve Madden's aren't cheap! Even if urban styles like Rocawear isn't your thing they have plenty of styles to choose from.

Shopping At Target For Clothes

Shopping at Target is absolutely fine. I go there all the time for clothes. It's cheap and is good quality. I have several items from there that have lasted for years. Just be sure to check the garment for any rip, stains, tears, etc. before you buy. Just because it's more upscale than Walmart doesn't mean the clothes are handled like relics.

Target is hit or miss. They have o.k. stuff, but the price is really getting higher. If you like mall clothes and don't want to pay a lot I suggest Wet Seal. If you don't have one near you..check them out on line at www.wetseal.com. For undergarments I suggest Victoria's Secret. Go to the semi annual sale!! Happy shopping!!

I love Target!! The clothes are really nice and at a reasonable price too. They always have stuff on sale.
You could buy your undergarments at Target too.
But I love Victoria Secret. You could buy their cotton panties & thongs there. But nobody is going to see your bra so buying some cheap bras at Target or Ross is ok.

target sells a lot of nice things. just cause they have cheap prices doesnt mean you shouldnt buy there. if the clothes are pretty and fit you well then they can be just as good as more expensive stores.

as for undergarments id say victorias secret. if you want to keep your prices down its probally not your place but the quality of their stuff is really good. plus they have a store in most malls.

hope this helps!

I think target is wonderful, it's not like they're cheap.....but not too expensive, just have fun with your clothes, they don't have to be really expensive to help you look pretty, and for undergarments go to victoria secrets or mier and franks!

target has good clothes for adults and kids....[Mervin's is their sister company] and the quality is equal to Mervin's] in fact i find alot of clearance items that come from Mervin's that has not been on regular sale in Target

the shoes however, are not[in my opinion] all that great, but the sneakers, and walking shoes are good value
