I have moved around over 20 times in 16 years, all over the country. Never stay in a rut.
If you are running away from something the problem will still be with you mentally.
If you want to move because you have out grown where you are or just because you have itchy feet and want a new experiance I would say go for it.
A lot of people will say better the devil you know.
Good luck

It depends on your age. Life in London can seem very fast, if you can cope with this, fine. If you're older, you may have to work hard at putting down roots in a new area, which can be alright if you have the right personality to mix with people. If you put yourself first and consider all the pluses and minuses, you'll make the right decision. Good luck, whatever you choose.

It comes down to the small town mentality.
I grew up and lived in London and moving away was one of the best things I have ever done. It was dirty, overcrowded, stupidly expensive, and very unsociable. Small towns and villages are the opposite.
If you grew up in a small town, then London will be exciting and vibrant.

You haven't given enough information to really understand what prompts you to consider this, but I'd say that if you have to ask here you aren't ready to move. You've got to be prepared to weigh up the risks and if the urge to move is still strong - be strong - and go for it - you only have one life. But if you are running away from something watch it doesn't follow you... life's like that you know.. sticky shadows follow :-)

It depends what you're leaving and what you are going to.
I left home and went without any great expectations. Ended up staying for 8 years and completing my formal education at night classes.
I'm glad I went, it was a great experience. I came to no harm.
I did, however, keep in touch with my friends and family so I knew I could always go home if it all went pear shaped.

If moving to London entails living homelessly or turning to Prostitution, I Would say stick with what you know. Otherwise, I'd say go for it.
