i tried many off the shelf proucts that don't seem to work............i'm thinking of using baby oil..not sure???

Tee Tree Oil. Paul Mitchell has an entire collection styling products and all! DO NOT USE BABY OIL! Dandruff is caused by build up on the scalp flaking off...baby oil will just add to teh mess of dead skin and sebum(body oil). Also, Bumble&bumble makes a shampoo and conditioner called Tonic.

If you have tried the sulfa based shampoos, like Head and Shoulders, you may need to see a doctor and get a prescription for some medicated shampoo. It may be a scalp condition and not dandruff so, go see the doctor anyway. As someone posted, a tar based shampoo may help, but, better to see the doctor, get a got diagnoses, medication, and go on with your life. Trial and error take time and you don't want to take too much time.

Try one of the tar products. If it doesn't work go to the doctor and get a prescription or a referal to a dermatologist.
