James Blunt has the same effect on me, though.

Edit: Any TV show which plays a 'brown note' you can 'hear' is bluffing. In theory the frequency is between 5-9 kHz, which is inaudible.

Apparently it does exist. Its a low frequency note so I presume you need big speakers with a sub-woofer that can play a loud bass note.

They tried to find it on that tv show Mythbusters once. It didn't work. They couldn't find it. So... if you believe them, no it doesn't exist.
