In the 90-93 accords we have had alot of problems with the main relay. It is a relay that turns the fuel pump on and off.. Now I have diagonsed this complaint several times and have had a few different repairs possibilities. First check the main relay, second the electircal portion of the ignition switch, third the coil and ignitor in the distibutor, and last check to make sure all of you secondary ignition parts are factory(ex...cap rotor plugs and wires.) Good luck visit my page if you have further questions.

A car that old there could be a lot of thing going on it. The first thing I would do is try either cleaning or replacing all of your ground wires on the engine. Had a problem with my car a few months ago, car would have a hard time turning on and would die while i was driving. Brought a new battery, changed altenator, starter. None of that worked. Change a few grounds and now the car starts up every time. Plus it cheaper to start off with cleaning wires then buying parts you dont need and cant return

Don't understand " pass something through exhaust" what reaction would this be ?? Does it back fire or what.
Distributor can cause shut down but usually only mis fire.
I don' know for sure but did 93 have computer,
I guess, from your description, that the car starts again after it quits ? If so I would run a fuel pump pressure check.

Have you noticed any lights going out as you drive it? Maybe the radio turns off? I had a similar problem with my 94 toyota corolla and it was my alternator (the thing that charges the battery while you drive). If it doesn't work then your battery will die and your car will stop.

Is it a particular speed, is it while you are in drive and stopped at a light? Check the spark plugs and wires, If there are any lights on the dash get it scanned.

it's been hexed. you need to look at what you've done over the last few weeks. if you've angered any witches or warlocks, I suggest you make amends before it gets worse. this mild annoyance is clearly a warning, and you should take it seriously lest you reap the consequences of your actions ten fold.
