if you buy goods that are obviously not right, through ebay's paypal, is it possible to instigate a charge back and refund your payment, if anyone knows how to do this, please advise because i have been ripped off for £300 !!

all you have to do is open a claim through paypal....i think you have 45days from the purchase.....go into ebay community and click on the security resolution centre and follow the prompts from there.....good luck......i have done this before and its pretty good....youll only be out of pocket postage and a small administration fee...

You should be able to under the buyer protection guidelines assuming your item qualifies. I'd send an email to the customer service department at Paypal with the details of the transaction and why you feel you deserve compensation.

when you log in your paypal account, choose resolution center from the menue, and open a despute about this charge.

email the seller first stating your grievance,if no joy go to resolution centre in the community page and ebay will help you from there.

if it was a credit card approach the card company by writing dont phone $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$goodluck
