In the comics and the cartoon. Cyclopse was powerful and a leader. but in all three xmen movie, they made him a sissy??? why
he gets his *** kicked by 3 chics....
he gets knocked out by that chinese girl with the claws like wolverine and jean grey beats him twice

I think that Singer aimed to make Jean's choice between them clearer.
Getting your **** handed to you by a level 5 TK, not exactly a surprise. as to DeathStrike whipping him, she had element of surprise and the tranquilizer.

Even in the cartoon he wasn't the most powerful. He was just a natural leader. I never felt that he was anything more than a sissy. I loved the x-man cartoon when I was younger and still really like the movies. The movie character was a bit weaker but it could have been because the actor had no presence.

Cyclopse was not a SISSY....He was very powerful & a great leader...I think they killed him bcoz they just want 2 show how powerful was d Phoenix(JEAN GREY) & make us sentimantal....But they also RUINED d movie by killing him...:-(

he was pu$$y whipped!
his wife dies and come back as the phoenix, so now he's emotionally attached to her. cyclops was horrible throughout the x men movie(s) he should have manned up and kick the phoenix's @$$! even though she was omnipotent. so much so she killed........WHOA, almost ruined the movie for some people. lol

i never really liked Cyclops but did anyone else think that the man who plays him, his face looks really weak without the glasses on.
