when a page is private,how can you see it?do you need to be added as a friend?

I think someone has added me as a friend but when i look on his page i dont see my picture,i didnt send him a friend request,what did he do?

Yes. There is no way around it.
You have to be their friend to see it.
If you do not want to add them, but you need to see the page, just make a fake person that seems real and add them. :)

Nobody will be able to view your page until you add them as a friend. If you delete that friend your profile will go back to being private.

If it is private it is set according to the owner's preference. They may have it as viewable if you are added as a friend and they may not.
