I havent watched a good film in ages, can someone reccommend something good, it could be old new i dont care.

If you want a good romance film, that has a dash of drama, crime, war and good acting (well more than a dash of this), I'd say 'Legends of the fall' with Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt.
If you want a romantic comedy, pick someone elses choice, I don't like these personally (although I do admit to laughing at Notting Hill...once...a long time ago!).
If you want the best film of all time, then get 'Apocalypse Now'. It's a war film done via an interesting angle rather than the usual heroism angle. Marlon Brando and Martin Sheen are immense in this film. The soundtrack and visuals however steal the show.

A surprisingly good film is Star Wars Episode 3-it made sense of the whole thing for me, and I cried at the end. A really silly, funny film is Anchorman, also loved Shallow Hal, Happy Gilmore, Along Came Polly, anything like that. Not sure about romance films, but would watch anything with Josh Hartnett in. Mean girls is supposed to be really good, but I've never seen it. and by the way Gladiator is my all time fave if u haven't seen it yet so's Titanic. Or you could just make pretty patterns like this ~~~~~~######<><><><> hey it's not bad! have a good weekend :)

Romancing the Stone
The Princess Bride
Shrek and Shrek 2
Shallow Hal
Along Came Polly and 50 First Dates aren't quite in the same league as the ones above, but they're pretty good romantic comedies too.
