when did i get preg. and who could be the father?

I had a 1 nite stand on apr.4 and i slept with my bf on apr.6 my due date is dec.27 06 and i really need to know who could be the father. i miscarried in mar. and had a period mar 21-30 so can any one help me and please no mean answers.

The Doctor can tell you when you conceived based on the dates of your period and as far as the potential father of your baby, only a DNA test will be able to give you an answer. Good Luck

Honey, you are more than likely looking at the one nighter to be the father..

With a period date of Mar 21st.. that sets your ovulation date of April 4th. You roughly ovulate between 2 weeks ( 14 days ) after the first day of your last period, and 2 weeks before the start of your next. So the egg would be ready for fertilization 2 weeks after Mar 21st, which was April 4th. It would be harder for the bf to be the father because the egg starts to deteriorate and then dissolve 24-48 hours after ovulation.

Sperm will coagulate in the vagina after ejaculation, causing a 'barrier' against other sperm. A sort of 'survival of the fittest', even though you had slept with him on the 4th, sperm can live up to 3-6 days once inside the female.

Of course, you could always opt for a paternity test to be sure. If the bf finding out is the issue, why not just discretely contact the one nighter and set up a quiet testing at a local hospital to rule him as or as not the father. It is a painless procedure that only requires swabbing the inside of both baby and fathers cheeks.

I will not criticize, however maybe a lil more prudent planning before we stray again and think about family planning.

Are you positive that you miscarried? You can have a period during your pregnancy. With that in mind you would have concieved March 30th give or take a week because the dates can be off by 7 days. If that is not the case the most likely scenario is that it is your one night stand. Sperm can live up to 7 days inside you. He was there first. It is possible to get a prenatal paternity test.
You do not have to wait until the child is born. I understand that your afraid of telling your BF but it is best to be honest. I won't judge you but if you are too scared just get the prenatal test done.

Also for the person who wrote why don't you read her message she had a miscarriage. April is after March, every one read it properly except you. She was saying that she believed she got pregnant again after she miscarried. She is sharing this info because her actual conception date would have been in March according to the due date.

People can be cruel honey, I hope that things turn out ok for you.

depending on how long your cycle is if you count 14 days or so after the first day of your period it would be your one night stand. He is the on the money. 14 days after the 21st of march would be the 4th of april when you started ovulating. Sperm can live a couple of days up in there. But you are also really close only two days later you had sex with your boyfriend and you could have still been ovulating! The only way to determain this one is a DNA test. You were ovulating the week of April 4th, it started that day and probably ended around the 7th or 8th. So either one!

There is no well of telling unless you get a paternity test.

I recently learned 10yr old son was a result of a rape. I had slept with my fiance in June and had been assaulted in July. My due date had been at the end of March. My son wasn't born until the beginning of May but he was way way overdue...no amniotic fluid, covered in infection, low body temp, etc. His baby pictures looked identical to my fiance's baby pics. His body shape and hair resembled the families. Well, in Jan 2001 my ex got a DNA test done by the prompting of his wife. He didn't go get it until Feb 06 and it showed he wasn't the father.

So sometimes a DNA test is all that you can do. Get it and have piece of mind!!

As hard as it is there is no way of telling. And don't let people get on you for it. You made a mistake. But the best thing to do is to be honest now and talk to your boyfriend and the other guy. That ways if the true father can still have a chance to be there and it won't be a big surprise later. And your kid should know the truth.

I dont know if you are aware of this or not, but they can now do a DNA test while you are pregnant. I do not know how far along you have to be before you can do it but your OBGYN will be able to tell you. Since you had intercourse with two people so close together, this is the only way you can know for sure who the father is. I wish you all the best and congratulations on your baby.

Okay, if you really want to know who the father is, then do get a paternity test, or just simply wait until your baby gets here and see which guy the baby looks more like down the road, but your best bet would be a paternity test. I know I haven't helped but I wish you luck and my prayers are with you dearly!

ALL the people who answered before PLZ take your time reading this poor girl's question. SHE HAD A MISCARRIAGE! How in the name of the almighty is she going to get a DNA test on substances she doesn't have anymore?!? .... Anyway! My advice to you sweetheart would be that i don't think it's possible for us to help you with the information that you are giving us and i doubt that you would find out. Please try not to get into this kind of situation again. You are putting yourself at risk for to many things. Value yourself and respect yourself enough to make this decision to do better. It's not to late to turn around and change for the good.

You probably got pregnant 14-17 days after your last period! So, im guessing that your BF is the daddy!! You crazy girl!! I wish you the best of luck and hopefully your BF will turn out to be the daddy!
