Led Zeppelin. Most of the big hair bands were just cookie cutter bands, Def Leppard included.

You gotta' be kidding! Def Leppard doesn't even belong in the same sentence as. LED ZEPPELIN. The pinnacle of rock and roll was reached in 1971 with the release of Stairway to Heaven. It's been downhill from there.
