I have, even though I am a Republican, thought that Jimmy carter was the most honest President this country can ever have. It is because of his honesty, as well as his humaniterian missions, that I respect him today. However, he was definately one of the worst Presidents this country has ever had. Not because of who he was, but because of the time in history he became President. He was merely caught in a situation he didn't know how to fix.

There is no comparison . Jimmy Carter was probable one of the most honest , christian Presidents we have had in the last two decade's .
A lot of people will argue , he was not a good President and that might be so , but circumstances being what they were at that time , he did the best he could and was honest about it .

There can be no comparison. Jimmy Carter was with out a doubt one of the worst presidents we've ever had. Then why did he get elected you say???? He was and I want to emphasize the "HE WAS" a great politician. When he stumped for the presidency he was the good old boy from Georgia. With a country on fire from Viet Nam, Nixon and then ford tripping all over the place we needed an honest man with a smile who liked to wear sweaters and sit by the fire place.... Boy what a mistake that was!

Was he honest? The country ran out of gas, I think he was the first president to cancel Olympics due to politics, he failed at all diplomatic attempts with the Iranian's and he authorized our military failure in Iran (hostage rescue). If he was honest it was to a fault. And, he cost this country dearly.

You need to find someone else to compare Bush to.

George Bush is a dishonest man who is not up to the job.

Jimmy Carter has permitted the dummycratic fantasies to take over what is left of his mind. It is a shame the good he has done is becoming outweighed by the negatives of his recent activities. It is hard to tell if he has lost touch with reality or is just pushing the dummycratic platform and ideas knowing how wrong they are but thinking they are less damaging than having the republicans stay in office.

Carter was honestly the worst President (and worst EX-President) this country has ever had. No foreign dictator ever had a better friend.

What comparison?

Is this a joke?

Bush is honest about maybe 50% of the time.

He is a born and groomed politician.
