I have no idea. I have my personal favorites, but they would most certainly be detested by others.
Classical music from the classical era is probably the most well-known and most recognizable around the world. Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, etc. Think; it's been around for hundreds of years and most people will recognize these composers and know their "songs".
