Go do some volunteer work at a community center. They always need help filing, painting offices, working with children , feeeding the homeless, and organizing give aways. Contact either Red Cross or Salvation Army. If you can't relax at least do something to benifit mankind. Someone like you who needs to stay busy would be a blessing for them.

You don't need to travel abroad! Don't know where you live, but you could see the Rockies in the West, go rock climbing! Go to the Ocean and go diving! Go to Manhattan and see the big city, catch a show on Broadway, climb the Statue! Camp at the Grand Canyon! Just take a road trip in a direction you haven't been! Go to Las Vegas! Ride the biggest roller coasters! Do something adventerous like white water rafting! Surely you can find something fun outside the home to do for two weeks!

Well, dang, I wish I had a job that was as good as yours! The problem is that you are just hyper like me. Sometimes I just drive my truck around when I am bored and can't think of anything to do! Why don't you find something neat to do with other people outdoors like a hiking club? It sounds like you probably crave the social aspect of being at work too, so a club would be perfect for you.
There are hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, roller-blading, reading, art clubs, etc, etc. Call you local Community Service Center to find out if there are any in your area that you would be interested in. You'll probably find them more fun than work, and lose your obsession with being there. :)
Have fun! Make some new friends!

You really need a vacation. Go to Florida or California for a week and a half, come back a few days before work starts, clean your place, relax. Have a few drinks along the way; you are way too high strung!

Lucky lucky you, for getting the 2 weeks off, paid I hope?
Here are some suggestions, Learn a 2 week course in your community, maybe enrol in a language class? commercial truck driving? Get another driving class license?
Clean your house? Repaint? Redo the patio? Mend all your clothes, Sew a new wardrobe? Volunteer at the SPCA, walk the dogs there. There are many places who love volunteers.

Can you go somewhere in your own country? Go skiing or to the beach?
Why don't you sign up for a single's cruise? Then you don't have to have a friend -- you'll make some! Those things usually only last about 10 days, if that.

Go to your local bar. You can easily meet two friends of mine Johnny Walker and Jim Beam. They will take care of your problem for you.
