turn key on and make sure it show the vehicle mileage.next,turn key off.use your left hand and hold down the reset button.use your right hand ,and turn the key on.you will see the mileage bars lit up and slowly all the bars disappear.release the button and turn key off.

In all the cars I've done this with, I just had to hold the trip odomoter button in when I turned the car on, and keep holding until the light went off. You will probably want to check your owners manual. It should tell you how to do it under oil changes.

If your maintenance required light is on, your vehicle's computer has detected something wrong with your car. The best way to get it reset is to take it to a garage and have them scan the computer to see what is wrong. This is not the cheapest way, but it is the best. The light is on for a reason.

Yes , Chris is correct. Just remember to set the trip meter to your actual miles, not trip A or B. The maintanence lite will flash and then go out with the trip button pushed in and the key on. It should go out right away after that.
