Absolutely one of the best war movies ever made, the 1930s version of "All Quiet on the Western Front" There was a remake of this movie in the 1970s or 80s but the remake is not as good as the 1930s version.
Two other WW I movies are "Paths of Glory" and an old film from the late 1920s or 30s called "Wings" which was made using original WW I planes and many of the pilots in the movie were actual pilots from the war.
A Hollywood movie about WWI in Africa is "African Queen" with the giant Hollywood stars Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn. It is not totally historical but it is a great film.
Another great WWI film is "Gallipoli", about the Australian troops who were slaughtered in the fighting near Istanbul, Turkey.
A priest from New York, Father Dooley, wrote a book about the 69th "Irish" Regiment and their service in WWI and that was made into a famous movie with a big cast of Hollywood stars of the 1930/40 era. THe movie is called "The Fighting 69th" Many of the people in the film were based on real men from the actual regiment.

All Quiet on the Western Front. It can be slow but it's from the German point of view so it's a cool change. And it's based on a popular book.

i think it would be hard to find a movie that is completely true and historically correct on anything, but there are movies that are close or based on true events
