She isn't in love with Finn so she was right is ending things with him, but Derek is never going to be able to love her the way that she wants. I think the Chief ws right when he was telling Derek why he did not stay with Ellis, too much emotional baggage (guilt over a failed marriage and all that) but on the same respect. I'm not sure if Meredith really loves Derek or if its not some weird my mother didn;t love me so you need to love me thing. My rromate and I were arguring the Ellis Grey thing. I said she is a mean B***h. Yes, Ellis is ill but she is living in her past, but she seems for uncaring when she talks about Meredith as a little girl. She was too busy being THE ELLIS GRAY and cheating on her husband that she wasn't a very good mother and then she kept her from her father, so I think that Meredith is looking for love is all the wrong places.

If Meredith wants her life to continue the was it's going then Dr. Shepard is the one. If she wanted to uncomplicate things and take a breather then she would have gone the other way. It was really a no-brainer. She wanted the available alpha male from her group. If she picked Finn who would envy her.
What I liked was Kali and McSteamy. I wasn't ready for that at all. It was obvious that she was assertive but, oh my.

Of course she did! McDreamy has that raw sex appeal...they are so HOT together! Finn is nice, but she just doesn't love him.

If she had chosen Finn they would have no where to go with the story line. But I think he may just show up later on just like Mcsteamy did.

Welllll, since she is obviously a masochist she picked the one that will make her the most unhappy soooo that means she picked the "right" one. I have thought Derek was a jerk since I found out he was married and messing around. He proved it by "removing himself" from her life(HA!)...she is bound for more misery and she has picked just the right man for the job; a self-rightous sufferer. They make a good pair and I doubt they will suffer in silence...
Anyone else notice that George has buffed it up since last year?!

duh!!!! this is t.v. hello what else was she going to do, besides you can't help who you love even if it is the wrong guy and finn was to nice meredith needs a bad boy! it's more fun and you know there's going to be some twist and turns in the end, but in real life I would have kept them both a doctor for me and a doctor for my dog mmmmm!!!!! haha!!!
