Do you know the name of the woman who ran for president? I think it was in the 80's or early 90's. Independent. I know there was a woman who ran back in 1872, but i cant think of the most recent one. thanks for you help!

Geraldine Ferraro ran as the Democratic candidate for Vice President with Walter Mondale as Presidential candidate in 1984.

There was an African-American lady who ran in the 60s. Damned if I can remember her last name, but I believe her first name was Shirley. Sorry. It might be Chisolm, but I'm really not sure.
