The 70's song goes something like "When i call, you up" thats about all i know, its an easy listening type of song. It comes out in the movie Kingpin. Whats it called and who sings it?
THe 80's or 90's song is called rocksteady, but who sings it?

The first song is called "You Won't See Me", and was originally recorded by the Beatles, and later by Anne Murray.
The only song I know of called "Rock Steady" was by Bad Company, and came out in the 1970's, and was on the album "Bad Company".

save it for later - the english beat... is that the one you are talking about from kingpin? it's second-wave ska. i looked up the soundrack to kingpin and didn't see a song called rocksteady... aretha franklin & brian adams both sings songs with that title though

Hi Mr. Cyrus. I've heard of these guys but haven't actually heard them before now. Very nice cover of The Kinks. I really like these songs, they almost sound like a hybrid of two of my favorite artists from the same period, The Attractions & XTC.
