My cousin showed me how to switch to manual or something in my ipod so i could connect it to hers. So i did that and it said if i wanted to erase and sync it. So i said yes because i wanted to change the songs anyway then i went to file and clicked on sync ipod and it had songs and i waited for like 7 minutes and it would still say "do not disconnect" and it still says it until now. I just wanted to put the songs i picked in my ipod nano and it would say its updated while the screen on the ipod sayd do not disconnect. What's wrong with it and what did i do?

it always says that when you plug it into the computer. if youre using windows just make sure you eject the ipod from the system tray or click eject in itunes.
