I don't know, but it is sad that so many of them think our foreign and domestic policies should be based on what will make other countries like us.

I don't understand why you think that? Actually, liberals (and I'm assuming that you are talking about the Liberatarian Party) don't appear to really care much at all about being popular. They mostly just believe in "live and let live'. They just want to do their own thing, mind their own business, etc... and not be harassed by the establishment (government) as long as they are not harming any person(s), their property, making threats, or generally just not bothering anyone else.

Perhaps the only reason for wanting their Party to be more popular would be so that maybe one day, there could be a Liberatarian President, so that all the people in jail who are no danger to society could be set free, etc......

I think it's just the nature of politics. The reality of it is that it's not only Liberals but many Conservatives do too. One group may be more open about it than the other but I think they are both guilty of the same sin. It's a terrible shame but apparently, that's what kind of mutated government we have from what our founding fathers instituted. Maybe we should all get off our lazy butts and do something to turn this amazing country around before it's too late.

recognition is in simple terms important and a contest in case you rejoice with being with human beings! 'Contest' implies competitiveness, so a definite breed of human beings will continually be striving to be the main usual individual interior the workplace/highway/activities club and so on because of fact that is of their nature. besides, recognition oftentimes comes at a cost - you are going to understand quite some human beings, yet have very few close acquaintances. i assume via understanding a lot of human beings you oftentimes do get added forward in existence given which you have greater possibility to community and combine with human beings, who understand human beings, who in turn understand human beings thus you get to take heed to greater approximately pastime opportunities/evening out and so on.

It's because they approach life from their FEELINGS and how they FEEL about someone is so much more important than that person's ethics, morals, character, etc.

That's how we end up with a rapist like Bill Clinton as President of the United States and one of the great disgraces to the office.

Why are you rapidly posting so many blantent flame-bait posts against "liberals"? Why do you feel the need to group everyone that isn't in agreement with you into groups that you seem to think always agree with each other?

You accuse others of treating things as a popularity contest, yet you're the one stirring up talk against another group.

They don't. If you are talking about how other countries view us, it has nothing to to do with wanting to be popular. The fact is that we need allies in the world in order to accomplish our goals. We can't solve the worlds problems by ourselves. How effective would you be in your life if you took the attitude that you don't give a damn about anyone else and that you were going to always do things your own way without considering anyone else's position or views? Not only would you be unpopular, you wouldn't get very far in life either.

Election is really a big popularity contest. Thus, Liberals handled it that way using methods to win by hook and by crook.

What are you basing this on? You haven't listed any explanation here and you need one with these kinds of accusations.
