there is nothing as "decent".... it is both the number of visitors to a website as well as the quality of visits; it also depends on how old the site is and also if it caters to any specific category (such as widget sales or online diamond marketing!)
for a site of common interest, that is about a year old, i would say about 1000 visitors per day is a decent number... if you promote your site by optimisation techniques, the number can go up to 5000 or more...

per day or per month, if per month a small business is doing well if it gets 400 - 1000
