You pay for the name only. There are comparable products available that do the same thing for less money. I have bought off-brand detergent for years and get the same results!!

Safeway brand detergent is indistinguishable from Tide and is much cheaper.

It has a great smell that lasts all day but its no different then anyother detergent..they all do the same thing...i use Purex..its cheaper and smells just as good!

Well, I have tried most brand and I like the smell of Tide out of all of them.

I'm sure it's a great product, but there are others on the market that do just as good a job at half the cost.

Purex is about 10.00 cheaper a bottle. It cleans awesome I have used it for 10 years.

Tide is good but using a cheaper brand is just as good.

No not anylonger. At one time but there are other detergents that are comparable.
