I heard and read about his book it sounds like trouble for the repubs. in charge now. I dont think many will take kindly to finding out how they have been talked about rudely by those in WHite House. As it turns out a politician is still a politician it seems-"use whatver you can to your gain". Im not surprised nor am I hopeful for our country as long as this is the leaderships "mission statement".

Yes.
I remember back in 2004, before the last stolen election, I was attending the Assembly of God church, when the pastor told everybody that they should vote, and he added that he truly believed that if George W. Bush was not re-elected the homo-sexuals would take over America.
Needless, to say, that was the last time I stepped foot in the Assembly of God church.
The Republicans have absolutely no morals except "give to the rich and take from the poor."

I've been hearing some advance buzz for Kuo's book "Testing Faith", and really look forward to reading it.
I'm not an evangelical, but I have real sympathy for anyone who has been used the way they have been.
I doubt it's a "republican" thing so much as it is a Karl Rove thing. Pretty sure he's the devil.

Not just their money - their votes. The GOP and the "religious right" have a mutual exploitation fest going on. I don't think the whole Ralph Reed/Jack Abramoff connection got nearly as much press as it deserved, btw.

There are 2 kinds of Republican: the cynical amoral leaders and businessmen and their sometimes fanatical but always faithful Christian followers.

Last time I checked, Republicans are politicians. Many politicians would take money from their mother's murderer.
BTW, if the allegations are true, then it isn't slander.

Basically for the same reason that Democrats slander blacks, the poor, and gays behind their backs and take their money. Its all about getting power, keeping power, and gaining more power. If both parties put a tenth of the energy they consume in their quest for power into actually doing something to make America better, this nation would blow the rest of the world away economically, socially, militarily, and culturally.
