my tank size is 9 gallons ,it has tetra and platies inside.

minnows are by nature aggressive. they have to fight for there food. so they will look at you're fish as a threat to there territory

The minnows are actually a different type of species from a colder climate, and while they may or may not work with your tropical fish depending on different variables, the mix isn't the ideal choice in such a small tank. I don't know how many of each you have, but considering the tetra's are shcooling fish, the chances are platies, neon tetra's and glowlite tetra's have pretty muched maximized the space available in that tank anyway.

usually they get along but like with people just because they are supposed to get along doesnt mean they will. You may have it too crowded too. 9gal is kinda small for so many fish. They like to swim around a lot and if another fish gets in their way then they get rude.
