Without a doubt. I would eat some and use the rest as bait, probably to catch fish from the sea around the island. The fish I would eat, saving some as bait for some of the larger animals on the island, such as wild pigs/boars. These I would kill with my bear hands, before skinning and eating them. The skins and bones I would save, bleaching in the hot mid-day sun, before crafting them into a primative boat and sailing free. Insect- useful bloody things.

well if you were on an island that would mean there would be water all around you so there would probably be fish in the water so i would try to get a fish first before i ate an insect becuz if you are hungry you would have to eat a crap load of insects to not be hungry anymore

I tell myself I wouldn't but if I was starving I think my natural survival instinct would kick in. Knowing me I would eat an insect then throw up and lose the goodness and have to battle with my conscience again to eat another!

I would eat insects if I had to- they are full of protein. The only thing I could not bring myself to eat would be any rodent...I would just have to starve to death.
