The parties aren't that different, no matter what you think. I'm a liberal too, but this kind of heedless insult doesn't help anyone.
The Neo-cons you speak of are a not nearly as bad as the older ones. The neo-cons are also known as South Park Republicans. They have equal disdain for the far left and the far right. They believe in evolution, are pro-choice, are pro gay marriage, believe in a more relaxed approach to drugs, and as a whole are a lot more moderate than the classical Republicans.
Regardless of what you have been told. The real losers on both sides of the lines are the extremists.
How come people think, "you either like Michael Moore or you wanna go overseas and shoot Iraqis?" That's not the way the most of the people in this country are.
Like I said, I am a liberal but I think that the far left is just as dangerous as the far right. The extremists are the reason you think Republicans are bad. There are a lot of good ones.
Also, if you side with the Democrats 100% of the time, then you are just as big of an idiot. Just because you lean to the left doesn't mean you should allow yourself to become just as "brainwashed" as the people you despise.
Stay open to all ideas. That's what liberals are about. Moderation is the key for both parties.

Sounds like you think the people running this country are a bunch of ignorant idiots. I guarantee they are not. They are decietful and self-serving, but they are neither ignorant nor stupid. "NOE CONS" or not, they have a thourough understanding of the game and the rules of engagement. Never underestimate the leaders of this country, despite what you read or hear on this site or in the media.

Republicans are basically a Christian Extremist Cult. The live by a book ( Bible) filled with hate,revenge, rape, stoning and so much more evil beyond and comprehension. These people as you saw recently in Lebanon didn't flintch after all those hundreds of children died by Israeli soldiers.
Not one time did I hear an outraged Republican that tried to push for peace. Wouldn't this alarm people that a political party in America can care less about how many innocent civilians die in war whether the war was just or not?
Its a shame if you ask me.

You lie! We are god's chosen nation and W is his prophet and everyone else are godless heathens who all hate us and are trying to kill us and we have the right to invade their counties and destabilize entire regions of the world and kill tons of civilians in the name of jesus and to bring democracy to all those oppressed people who spend all of their waking hours both idolizing us and plotting against us. And furthermore 9/11 proved that all non-christians in the world are against us and are all in it together and because 3,000 people died we have the right to kill hundreds of thousands of civilians in order to bring peace to the world and prove that capitalism is the best and that our president is a godly person who only wants to spread the love of jesus by killing all religious extremists and anyone else who disagrees with him. : )
