what is the difference between an xbox 360 core and the dearer one.
do you need to add to the core.

the core version doesn't have a hard drive and so you won't be able to save games and downloads, if you have enough money to buy the premium version then do it otherwise just get the core and buy the hard drive another time, don't forget if you want to go online you will need to get a modem with a built in router, you get a months free gold membership with your 360 and then you will need to purchase after that if you want to be able to talk to other players. core has:

wired pad, not wireLESS

no hard drive but a small 64mb card, about enough for one arcade game and a few saves ONLY

No silver disc tray

maybe a few other small things like it doesnt come with an optimum cable for HD you have to buy that seperate. I would only get a 360 if you got an HD tv too, bigger the better. i got a 20" HD and thats small but fine.

The core pack doesn`t bring the hard drive. And many other things.

much better to go for the most expensive one up front, you'll only end up having to add the stuff later and it costs a lot more to do it that way.

your much better with the premium pack than the core
