It is three days after the Jewish Holiday of Passover, and three days symbolizes when Christ died and rose again for Us.

Since following the requirement of Christ to observe the memorial of the Last Supper on Niacin 14, at sunset of the first full moon after the Spring Equinox was generally inconvenient, plus it matched the Passover of the Jews, Easter was set on the next weekend.

It is a modification of the holidays celebrating sex and reproduction, as represented by the Rabbit and the Egg. The Apostle Paul said that he felt he had worked for nothing, as Christians had returned to the observance and holidays of man.

The basic fact is that the only day Christ said to observe was the Memorial, but Christians believe that since he didn't specifically say not to do it, that it must be okay. Sound a lot like a child not to eat the cookies, because dinner will be serve soon, so they eat the candy, because Mom didn't specifically state not to eat the candy.

satisfied anniversary! i desire you both have an outstanding time. we will have Easter dinner at my residing house, as favourite. All 5 of my grown children will contain their significant others and all 5 granddaughters will be there, too. i am going to %. my mom up and produce her over to our residing house for the festivities. We appreciate having 4 generations all mutually, so there'll be a lot photo taking. the picture of Christmas dinner, it's going to be noisy, warm and chaotic. My kitchen will be wrecked, little fingerprints on my fixtures, chocolate & jelly beans everywhere and we adore it!

There is a specific formula for the actual date. It is the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox.
