Some of the games will be compatible., but not all of them. What I've head is that all of the xbox games that are able to be played on XBOX LIVE are compatible with that XBOX 360 and then most of the newer xbox games.

Yes, some are playable but you either have to download the update to play them from the microsoft web site and burn it to a cd or connect your 360 to the internet. You don't need xbox live gold to do this, however.

yes, you can play xbox games on an xbox 360, but there won't be any hd graphics on the xbox game.

yeah you need to have the hard drive
and then that will automatically be able to play some games
but you have to download someemulators to play some games:: from microsoft
