He's one of the few people who literally grew up in the public eye. When he first started singing, he was the youngest ever performers with national acclaim. The Jackson 5 was bigger than any boy band today. He made several albums that went platinum. Now, he's just like that favorite aunt that brings you so many memories, but doesn't really do anything anymore. He reminds them of good times in their youth.

Because we have good taste in music and good judgment in people and we do it because we don't just automatically start disliking someone because the media tells us to!! Why are all the haters so jealous of him and why are they so brainwashed by the media?!!

Do you remember or have you ever heard of Jim Jones? He once led a cult in which 100's of people drank poison kool-aid because he told them to. There are alot of people in the world that can't think for themselves. It's sad and yes, scary.

i have NO idea. being weird and being eccentric are two different things.
being eccentric myself, i expect the devotion, the fan loyalty, making buttloads of money off my concert tickets, babs impersonators, and for people to turn to me for my political views..........but if i ever open an amusement park in my front yard with a neon sign saying "Come as you are".....please, someone do something with me....

You know if he had just died in a plane crash in 1985 or something, after Thriller, he would go down in legend. But instead, he messed it all up.
