There is something really ****ed up about my p*nis. Please take this question seriously because i am worried now because it has been like this for a month or so. Close by the whatever you'd call it.....tip or whatever it is red like the skin has been peeling off and it hurts when i jack off. The skin is red and raw looking in a spot but the rest looks normal. Where it is red and raw the skin around it is sort of coming off and peeling.

WTF. It hurts sometimes even when my crouch of my pants rubs against the bare raw spot. I know i don't have an STD because i'm a ****ing virgin. I'm 17 and now this problem is happening to a loser virgin. What is wrong?

I need serious opinions please because i AM NOT going to the doctor. That would be so screwed up saying "hey something is wrong with my penis! can you look at it?". HELL NO.

Okay what you have is almost like a diaper rash (no kidding) get Neosporin and put in on the raw spot until it heals. You can also use A&D ointment. Refrain from masturbation until it completely heals.

When you heal then you can go back to masturbation. Be sure to use a lubricant like Trojan jelly or something like this so you do not rub yourself raw again.

And there is ABSOLUTLY nothing wrong with being a virgin at 17. I think it is great that there are still young men out there who think they have to have sex to be cool. You are not a looser. And don’t worry about the people on this site who are harassing you and giving rude answers, because they themselves pleasure themselves if not now they have at some point. Ignore them!!!!!

Oh yeah if after 7 days the raw spot does not heal you will have to go to the doctor.

Good Luck.

Your refusal to seek medical help is beyond me because it would seem like a serious issue.

I myself went to the doctors' on many occasions concerning penis issues, includin one where I thought I had an STD but it turned out to be but a run of the mill rash.

When I was 13 or 14 or so, I experimented on myself by masturbating furiously 15 times in 48 hours. By the end, my penis was raw, red, and bloody, and the skin wouldn't heal. It took close to a week before my tool was back to normal and I was able to masturbate again.

If I were you I would put my ego on the side and swallow my pride and go see a doctor. What you are describing could be serious and could lead to major complications if you don't get the proper treatment and/or medication for it.

You shouldn't "fear" (I don't want to use that term, but...) doctors since they see quite literally dozens of sex organs per day, most of them relating to health issues such as yourself. It's gotten to a point where they don't really care about the fact you are showing your privates; to them, it's just another body part.

So I'll refrain from repeating myself again.... I am sorry I cannot offer you any better answer...

Good Luck

The mature (yeah I know, that's asking a lot of a 17 yr old) thing to do would be to go to the doctor. That's what they are there for...if any other part of your body was hurting and peeling off, wouldn't you go? Why risk your penis because you're embarrassed (for no reason, I might add)?

Don't be silly...the stupid thing would be to continue on as you are, hoping someone on Yahoo! Answers will say "it's fine, don't worry about it" or "put some neosporin on it and you'll be okay".

If it hurts bad enough...I imagine you'll go...but what damage might you have allowed to occur by waiting that long? Hmmmm?

I agree that it's irritated, possibly from the detergent your underwear is washed in. Get a good antibiotic cream and put on the spot a couple times a day, especially at night. I think the spot will stop being so raw and red.

I am sorry to say that you may not have much option. There is no need to be embarrassed - doctors are there to help and are fully trained to deal with this - they have special compulsory 'no giggling' classes ! Besides, she might be a nice doctor.

Seriously - get it checked out now before it shrivels up completely and drops off. Then you will be a virgin forever, and that would be terrible - right !

Sounds like you may have some kind of fungus. Try a product specifically made for Jock Itch. That may help if that's the problem.

Grow up and go see the doctor. Honestly, the prudishness of 17 year old babies is unbelievable, get your manhood together in your pants and pull yourself to the doctor...it is what any sane, ADULT MALE would do.
