Me and my so-called best friend as been friends for about 15 years. Now I live in another state and we are not a close as we use to be. Everytime I call her she is always busy, or she sits on the phone for hours talking about her boyfriend. Then when I start talking about my problems she has to change the baby diapers or call me back or something like that. Are we still best friends or is it time to bring it down a noch?

She seems a little inconsiderate. You should be able to talk about your life as well. But, being that you guys have moved away from eachother you're not going to be able to be as close as you were. She probably still considers you her bf but bf's dont always have to talk either. I moved away from my bf's and we don't talk all the time but I still communicate with them regularly. Sometimes we do have conversations where its just about them or sometimes me but we make a fair exchange. I also know that they are still my bf's and if I needed them they would be there. But we don't get to talk as much. Like the saying goes once a bf always a bf. Don't give up on such a long friendship so easily.

it depends on if shes doing this on purpose,i mean,not wanting to talk about u.but if she doesnt mean any harm,then give her a break.she has a baby afterall.but i would ask her about it next time,but dont make a big deal out of it.good luck!

you should ask her if shes mad at u and if she is ask her what shes mad about good luck with ur friend ship
