That the things (Like on Television or in the movies) you see in passing, as children, influence your adult life?

Any Personal examples?

I Studied Opera and classical music in life because of Bugs Bunny & Under Dog Cartoons, and love Jazz because of Tom & Jerry.

And I honestly believe that watching the movie version of the Book; The Bell Jar. By. Silvia Plath, maybe a little too young to understand it. (I sat up and watched it late at night on telly when everyone was sleeping.) really had a strong impact on my subconscious and my later lifestyle and tastes and choices. It took me places I really would rather not have and probably shouldn't have gone in my mind and in my life...

it is very possible--look at your own self--to be inspired by things yo usee on TV or films, and to havethese affect your adult self.
I learned to love jazz bacause of the Snoopy cartoons on TV--"Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!" is one of my favorites.
I saw programs on TV like "The Sixth Sense' that got me interested in the paranormal. And a wonderful TV special series by BBC-TV and Michael Wood, "In Search of the Trojan War," continued my fascination for archaeology and bardic tales.
As long as the mind is active, anything can encourage and inspire creative learning, keeping the mind open to new things. Keep it up!

I guess my love for jazz also begain with Tom & Jerry. But I don't think that stuff you watch as a child makes a big difference in one's life.
